Nicoupage: Sunflowers tray

About Nicoupage

Hi, this is Nicoletta, I live in the USA but I am an Italian artist and I create pieces of art using the technique of decoupage. The word "Nicoupage" is a portmanteau of my name (Nicoletta) and my favorite artistic technique (decoupage).

Everything started with my own wedding: I decided to donate to each guest a small box containing sugared almonds (according to an old Italian tradition, they are necessary for a proper celebration!). Each wooden box was slightly different, they all portrayed a different flower painted on the top with the technique of decoupage. It was a huge success!
Since then, I couldn't stop producing these little, unique pieces of art.
